Hello, My Name Is Kira

Hello, my name is Kira, but that’s just my name for a few days. I spent the first month of my life at an animal shelter. Somebody found me and took me there. There are many other cats that also live there, I was given medical care, vaccinated and then they even neutered me, ughhh.

Then fortunately people came who took me to a new home. Now I have a house with a huge garden around it, life here is much more adventurous than in the shelter. I have to start exploring this new world now, it’s exciting.

There are also other animals here that I have to get used to, but so far they have been very nice and have accepted me.

There are a lot of new things to see, if I discover something strange that scares me I’ll run back inside quickly. From here I feel safe and can see what is happening.

I am a domestic short-haired cat and because I have a tri-color coat I belong to the calico cat breed.

Tri-color coat, mhh, I wouldn’t have noticed that if my new master hadn’t pointed it out to me. But honestly, I don’t really care about cat breed and color. I am a cat, just as I see all these weird two-legged upright-going animals as humans.

At the moment I love to take little naps wherever I can find a comfortable place to lie down and chill. When I’m not sleeping, I play, eat, and of course slowly explore the area.

There is a lot to discover in the house, there are also many good hiding places here if I see something funny in the huge garden that scares me.
